New York dance-punk band LCD Soundsystem plays its final show at Madison Square Garden on April 2, 2011.

Do-hee crashes her motorcycle and ends up in a hospital, where she meets Seon-a—an in-patient battling a rare, incurable bone cancer. They form a tender friendship. Do-hee, moved by Seon-a’s spirit, joins a university mountaineering club and climbs Seorak Mountain, praying for her recovery. Seon-a’s parents care deeply, but her condition continues to worsen.

サワダは自主映画でインディーズ映画祭のグランプリを受賞し、その賞金で映画を撮ることに。アルバイト先の居酒屋で出会った小劇団のメンバーに出演してもらい、7人の天才詐欺集団が世のために詐欺を働くという映画『7s』は、撮影が進むにつれて俳優の遅刻や降板、スタッフ同士のいざこざなどトラブルが続出。さらには撮影したデータが消えてしまい、『7s』は未完のまま撮影中止に追い込まれる。そして3年後……。
